content
Lotta is a little girl who is three years old at the beginning of the book series. She lives with her siblings Jonas and Mia Maria and their parents on Krachmacherstraße. An elderly woman lives next door, who Lotta and her siblings simply call Aunt Berg. Lotta comes to visit them often. When Lotta has an argument with her mother because she doesn't want to put on the scratchy sweater, one day she even moves to Aunt Berg's attic. Since it is too lonely for her there, she decides to come back when her father visits her. Lotta often plays with her siblings Mia Maria and Jonas, but doesn't always want to obey their rules of the game, so she often ends the game very abruptly.
