Reviews

The jury of the youth literature award justified the nomination of the book for the German youth literature award as follows: “This photo picture book tells of a winter day in Lofoten. The men go fishing for cod in their boats, the children have fun with the sledge, ski, quarrel and make up again. The fishing village, the cod catch and the play of the children are brought into the picture fresh and alive, so that the little observer can literally smell the fish and feel the cold. This gives a good impression of the landscape and the people in Lofoten. "
