action

Eva Lotta finds the moneylender Gren murdered one day. Gren was not very popular in the village because of his dubious methods. So he probably lent the money, but later asked for it back many times over. Together with Anders and Eva Lotta, Kalle Blomquist can solve the case and locate the criminal and bring him to the police.

background

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Astrid Lindgren . This was already filmed in 1951 as Kalle Blomquist - his worst case ( Mästerdetektiven lever farligt ). The film was first shown on television in Sweden in 1996. In January 1998 the German television broadcast followed.

Differences from the book

The main characters are a few years younger than in the books. The film team believed that young people would no longer fight for Grandmother than Red and White Rose.

reception

The TV Today describes the film as a traditional, unspoilt and tranquil. However, the first film adaptation of the book ( Kalle Blomquist - his worst case ) is smarter.
