Pelle moves out (original title: Pelle flyttar till Komfusenbo ) is a children's film by Johanna Hald based on the book of the same name by Astrid Lindgren .

Pelle is angry. His father can't find his pen and suspects Pelle of taking it. Pelle actually took it, but put it back in his father's coat pocket. He feels that he has been treated unfairly and decides to move out. He packs up his things and wants to move into the little house in the garden. He would also like to spend Christmas there. But finally his mother can convince him to come back home.

Pelle moves out was first broadcast on Swedish television on 1990.

In Germany the film premiered in a series called Svensk Film für Kinder . In 2007 the fairy tale was published with three other Astrid Lindgren film adaptations by Universum Film GmbH on a DVD under the title Astrid Lindgren Collector's Edition . There was another DVD release in September 2010, this time with three more Astrid Lindgren films from Universum Film GmbH on a DVD under the title Astrid Lindgren - The Most Beautiful Stories .
