Ulla Weigerstorfer

Ulrike Weigerstorfer (born August 16, 1967 in Bad Aussee , Styria ) was the second Austrian to win the Miss World election in London in 1987 after Eva Rueber-Staier (1969) . She was a member of the National Council for the Stronach team from December 2, 2013 to November 8, 2017 .

Life

After her success on November 12, 1987 in the Royal Albert Hall in London, she made numerous television, radio and theater appearances as a presenter and actress: ( Quintet complete , TV film 1998), Tohuwabohu (TV series 1994), Kaisermühlen-Blues (TV series 1992) and a series of pictures in the American men's magazine Playboy (April 1988). Ulla Weigerstorfer also completed a speaker training and was, among other things, the presenter of a sports program on the radio for seven years. From 1988 to 1995 Weigerstorfer was in a relationship with the Austrian tennis player Horst Skoff .

From 2003 to 2009, Weigerstorfer was Director of Communication & PR at Magna Racino , a leisure center with horse racing track in Ebreichsdorf ( Lower Austria ) of Frank Stronach's Magna Entertainment Corporation . She also had a seat on the World Wide Fund For Nature foundation board and was co-owner of the Austrian snack chain "Schnitzlplatz'l", which was declared bankrupt on May 2, 2008. Weigerstorfer runs an agency for communication management and consulting in the third district of Vienna, Landstrasse . Ulla Weigerstorfer has a child with her partner, Marcus Markowitsch.

In the general election in 2013 was a candidate for the Weigerstorfer Team Stronach . After Monika Lindner's resignation on November 27, 2013, she took over her seat as a member of the National Council.
