Ulrich Baumgärtner (historian)
Ulrich Baumgärtner (born June 6, 1957 in Munich ) is a German historian .
Life
He studied history, German , sociology and education in Munich . After passing the 1st and 2nd state exams , he was a seminar teacher for history at the Karlsgymnasium in Munich and a central specialist advisor for seminar training at grammar schools in Bavaria. After obtaining his doctorate in 2000 and habilitation in 2005 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , he became an adjunct professor for history didactics .
He is a member of the editorial advisory board for Praxis Geschichte and (co-) editor and (co-) author of the textbook series Horizonte ( Anno ) and the series themed books on history .
