Ulrich "Ueli" Blatter (born December 29, 1940 in Hofstetten near Brienz , † April 20, 1995 in Engelberg , legal resident in Hofstetten near Brienz) was a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

After attending the schools in Engelberg , Blatter obtained the commercial diploma. From 1963 to 1990 he was the community treasurer in Engelberg and, from 1990, the home manager and administrator of the local hospital and old people's home. From 1987 he was on the board of directors of Obwaldner Kantonalbank and from 1990 was its vice-president.

In 1974 he became a member of the cantonal council of the canton of Obwalden , where he presided over the CVP parliamentary group from 1986 to 1988. On November 30, 1987 he was elected to the National Council, where he was a member of the Commission for Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy from 1991 to 1995, and chaired it from 1992 to 1994. On April 20, 1995, Blatter died in office.

The qualified mountain guide was committed to tourism and the mountain regions. He was very active in the areas of finance (special VAT rate for the hospitality industry), environmental protection (moorland, protective forest) and agriculture (continuation of cost contributions for cattle farmers in the mountain area) and persistently represented the interests of the canton of Obwalden.
