Ulrich Detrois

Ulrich Detrois (* 1958 in Kassel ), also known as "Bad Boy Uli", was the vice president of the Hells Angel charters Kassel. After his involuntary expulsion in 2007, he wrote the book Höllenritt - Ein German Hells Angel unpacks together with Bild- Editor Nicole Biewald .

Life

Ulrich Detrois grew up in Kassel, where he completed an apprenticeship as a radio and television technician after completing secondary school . At the age of 18 he joined the German Armed Forces and served in the rocket artillery battalion in Treysa . Then he opened a shop for fishing supplies in Kassel. In the 1980s he also earned his living as a drug dealer and brothel owner in the red light district of Kassel. In the 1990s he joined the Bones MC . After these were absorbed by the Hells Angels, he automatically became a Hells Angel in 1999 and founded a charter in Kassel. He held various offices there for many years, including eight years as Vice President. According to his own statements, he was kicked out of the club in 2007 for no apparent reason. He and his sister were then threatened with death.

After a trial against his former "brothers" (that is the self-designation among the members of the Hells Angels) that petered out, Detrois wrote the book Höllenritt - Ein deutscher Hells Angel unpacks, together with Bild reporter Nicole Biewald . The book was published in May 2010 by Econ Verlag and on June 21, 2010 it reached number 2 on the bestseller list of the news magazine Der Spiegel . Overall, it was 43 weeks in the bestseller list for nonfiction in hardcover and after publication of the paperback in August 2011 for a further 14 weeks in the Top 50 for paperbacks. A Dutch translation of the book was also published in 2011 .

In 2012 Detrois published We see us in hell: Even more true stories from a German Hells Angel, the sequel to his autobiographical novel.
