Ulrich Harbecke

Ulrich Harbecke (born January 11, 1943 in Witten / Ruhr ) is a German television journalist and writer .

Life

Ulrich Harbecke studied theater studies , music and art history at the universities in Cologne and Vienna . In 1969 he received his doctorate with a thesis on the history of theater at the University of Cologne . From 1970 he was a freelancer of the West German Radio . From 1975 to 2004 he worked as an editor in the television program of the WDR , most recently as head of the program group "Religion and Philosophy". Harbecke lives in Erftstadt today .

Harbecke is the author of narrative works and non-fiction books on historical and religious topics. He received the Robert Sheckley Prize in 1983 .
