Ulrich Reineking

Ulrich Reineking (born February 7, 1949 in Möllenbeck ; † October 4, 2009 in Rinteln ) was a German journalist and cabaret artist .

Life

Ulrich Reineking graduated from the Ernestinum Rinteln , studied theology , psychology and philosophy in Braunschweig and Berlin .

He then worked as a freelance journalist for Radio Bremen , the Schaumburger Zeitung and since 1991 as a columnist for the Bremen local section of the taz ("Urdrüs true column") and the city magazine Mix .

In Bremen he founded the cabaret of literary violence . The last performance (October 2nd, 2009) had the theme “Socialism or Barbarism: The slightly different celebration of Unity Day”. His last words in the taz were: “We only have the choice between socialism and barbarism. Ulrike Meinhof said: 'We cannot force her to tell the truth. But we can force them to lie more and more outrageously. ' I've been working on it for 50 years. "
