Ulrich Zeitel
Ulrich Zeitel (born October 4, 1956 in Tübingen ) is a German lawyer . He is managing director of the Forum Institute for Management in Heidelberg and a member of the regional board of the economic council of the CDU e. V. in Baden-Württemberg as well as member of the state executive committee of the CDU Baden-Württemberg.
Career
Gerhard Friedrich Hermann Zeitel's son studied law at the Universities of Mannheim , Bonn and Lausanne (Switzerland) from 1977 to 1983 . He completed language and study stays in the Soviet Union and at a German bank in Moscow . In May 1983 Zeitel completed his first state examination in law in Mannheim and then began a legal clerkship at the Mannheim District Court . The second state examination in law followed in June 1986. In July 1989 Zeitel received his doctorate. jur. at the University of Mannheim on the topic:The effects of the state foreign trade monopoly on the drafting of contracts in trade with the Soviet Union. In 1987 Zeitel started as a lawyer in Heidelberg and worked as a senior partner in the law firm Dr. Zeitel and colleagues mainly with questions of commercial and labor law and advising medium-sized companies.
Zeitel has been working at the FORUM Institute for Management GmbH since 1983. There he was initially legal project manager , later one of three managing partners (1988–2004) and since September 2004 sole managing director .
From July 2007 to December 2008, Zeitel was Executive Vice President Springer Science + Business Media with responsibility for conferences . From 2009 to September 2012 he was a member of the management team at Klett AG in Stuttgart.
From 2004 to 2010 Zeitel was a lecturer for international private law at the Institute for Economic Law at the University of Vienna . Zeitel has been a member of the University Conference of the SRH University Heidelberg since October 2012 and was a lecturer at the University of Heidelberg from 2014 to 2016 . Since 2017 he has been a lecturer at the University of Economics for Management in Mannheim.
On May 18, 2017, Zeitel received an honorary professorship from the Mannheim School of Business for Management in recognition of many years of service to the development of practical qualifications for professionals in cooperation with the university.
Zeitel was and is a member of various supervisory and advisory boards of medium-sized companies. In October 2018 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
Zeitel is married to the lawyer Evelyn Zeitel and has 3 children.

Zeitel is a member of the CDU and was regional chairman of the economic council of the CDU and a member of the presidium from 2003 to 2015 . Today Zeitel is honorary chairman of the regional association of the economic council of the CDU eV and member of the regional executive committee of the CDU in Baden-Württemberg. Since January 2018 he has been the chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the CDU Baden-Württemberg. In November 2017 Zeitel was awarded the Konrad-Adenauer-Medal in silver for his services to the CDU Baden-Württemberg.
