Ulrich von der Osten (born April 17, 1965 in Salinas , California , United States ) is a German journalist and television presenter .
Life
Ulrich von der Osten grew up in Speyer . He studied German and political science in Heidelberg and Munich with a focus on film analysis and scientific publication . From 1984 to 1985 he worked as a reporter for First Private Television in Ludwigshafen am Rhein . He later worked for the Süddeutscher Rundfunk in Heidelberg and for the German-language program of the Hungarian Radio in Budapest .
Ulrich von der Osten came to Berlin in 1991 and worked as an editor for RIAS-TV and then for Deutsche Welle TV . There he has moderated a current business and stock market broadcast since 1999. Since 1996 he has been a presenter for the news channel n-tv . Ulrich von der Osten lives with his family in Cologne .
