Ulrike Hauffe

Ulrike Hauffe (born May 2, 1951 ) is Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Barmer Ersatzkasse and was the State Commissioner for Women in the State of Bremen and thus head of the Bremen Central Office for the Realization of Equal Rights for Women (FZS). Member of the ver.di union .

biography

Professional background

Hauffe is a qualified psychologist . She has been in Bremen since 1983 and initially worked here in psychotherapy as well as in the training and further education of doctors and midwives . From 1989 to 1991 she was the first women's representative under the State Equal Opportunities Act in the Bremen public service . In 1994 she was elected state representative for women and head of the FZS by the Bremen citizenship and thus succeeded the first state representative Ursel Kerstein . Hauffe was confirmed in office in 2006 and elected for a further twelve years. In October 2017, Mayor Carsten Sieling said goodbye to Mayor Carsten Sieling in the upper town hall .

In the 2017 social elections, she was re-elected to the Board of Directors of Barmer GEK . ver.di has established a nationwide dialogue between the members of the self-administration in the social insurance and the insured there with the internet platform "Sozialversicherung-watch". Ulrike Hauffe provides information about her work there and supports insured persons with their inquiries.

  • Since 2005, Hauffe has been involved as an elected voluntary insured person representative in the self-administration of the Barmer GEK and is running again in 2017 in the social elections at number 1 on the ver.di list.
  • Has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mothers' Recovery Association since 2012 .
  • She is chair of the committee for women's and gender equality affairs of the German Association of Cities , for which she was first elected in 1999 as the successor to Helga Korthaase .
  • As the regional women's representative, she is a member of the supervisory bodies of Bremer Straßenbahn AG , Bremer Verkehrsgesellschaft and Flughafen Bremen GmbH .
