Ulrike Längle

Ulrike Längle (born February 4, 1953 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian literary scholar and writer .

Life

Ulrike Längle studied German , Romance studies and comparative literature from 1971 to 1977 at the universities of Innsbruck and Poitiers . In 1982, she was with a thesis on Ernst Weiss for Doctor of Philosophy PhD. Then she was a lecturer at the German Institute of the University of Innsbruck and in Klagenfurt until 1984 . Since 1984 she has been in charge of the Franz Michael Felder archive on Vorarlberg literature in Bregenz.

Ulrike Längle has also emerged as the author of novels and short stories that deal with the tragicomics of the everyday and the banal in clear, succinct language, and works as a translator .
