Ulrike Rylance

Ulrike Rylance (* 1968 in Jena , GDR) is a German author.

Life

Rylance studied English and German in Leipzig and London . During her studies she worked as an assistant teacher in Wales and Manchester . After completing her studies, she initially stayed in London, where she worked as a German teacher for children and adults. She has lived as a freelance writer in Seattle , USA, since 2001 and has two daughters.

Her first novel for young people was published in 2010, and since then other books for children and young people as well as entertainment novels for adults have followed. She also writes under the pseudonyms Ulrike Herwig (entertainment novels for adults), Caro Martini (women's novels with “Magic Twist”) and Carly Wilson (high school series “Myriad High”).
