The União das Freguesias de Carlão e Amieiro is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Alijó in northern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities Carlão and Amieiro . Carlão became the seat of the new administration.
