União the Freguesias de Gavião e Atalaia , shortly Gavião e Atalaia is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Gavião in the Portuguese region of Alentejo . It represents the municipality of the small town ( Vila ) Gavião.
history
The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipality of Atalaia and the municipality of Gavião .
