União das Freguesias de Laranjeiro e Feijó , or Laranjeiro e Feijó for short , is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Almada with an area of ​​7.83 km² and 39,305 inhabitants (2011). It is part of the metropolitan area of ​​the city of Almada.

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform on September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities Laranjeiro and Feijó . Laranjeiro became the seat of the new administration.
