The União the Freguesias de Podence e Santa Combinha shortly Podence e Santa Combinha is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Macedo de Cavaleiros in the region Alto Tras-os-Montes , in the northeast of Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Podence and Santa Combinha .

Podence became the seat of the new administration.
