Corujas is a village with 168 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011) in the northeast of Portugal and belongs to the city of Macedo de Cavaleiros . It is located about 35 km south of Bragança in the district of the same name , sub-region Tâmega , in the Norte region . The community area is 9.9 km². His name is also the Portuguese name for the owl .
