The União das Freguesias de Ribeira de Nisa e Carreiras is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Portalegre in the Alto Alentejo , Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Ribeira de Nisa and Carreiras .

Ribeira de Nisa became the seat of the new administration.
