Unicon
The Unicon (spelling initially UNICON), the World Unicycling Convention and Championships are / is a worldwide meeting for unicyclists , at which the World Championships of the International Unicycling Federation (IUF) are held. The term Unicon is a combination of the words Unicycling and Convention . A Unicon takes place every 2 years and usually lasts one to two weeks.
Disciplines
There are competitions in the following disciplines (see unicycle # riding styles and disciplines ):
- Track races: 100 m, 400 m, 800 m, 30 m tire running, 50 m single-legged riding, downhill gliding, track coasting, slow racing (forward / backward), standstill, IUF slalom ( obstacle )
- Endurance races: 10 km, marathon (42,195 km), 100 km
- Freestyle: Individual Freestyle , Couples Freestyle, Group Freestyle (small group / large group), X-Style, Standard Skill
- Muni: Cross-Country, Downhill, Uphill
- Trials, Flat, Street: Flatland, High Jump, Long Jump, Street, Slopestyle Street, Trials , Speed Trials
- Team sports: unicycle hockey , unicycle basketball
