Unter uns - stories from life , or Unter uns for short , was a German talk show that was broadcast twice a month between November 1994 and June 2016 on several third-party programs on ARD.
The series was initiated by Ulrike Nitzschke , who moderated the program from 1994 to 2008. On January 16, 2004 she was reinforced by Axel Bulthaupt as co-moderator. In 2008 she was replaced by Griseldis Wenner .
In the program, citizens of the federal states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia are introduced who have had unusual experiences and talk about them. Celebrities were also guests on the show with personal stories, including a. Musician Chris Doerk , singer Regina Thoss , actor Wolfgang Hosfeld , actress Anita Kupsch , musician GG Anderson and Dieter Birr ( Puhdys ).
The production site was Café Anger-Maier until 2008 . At the end of 2008 the café was closed. The talk then moved to Weimar and was broadcast from the Felsenkeller brewery until the end of 2012. Unter uns has been broadcast from Media City Leipzig since January 2013 . On June 3, 2016, the series was discontinued after 22 years and 431 episodes.
