Wolfgang Hosfeld (* 1947 in Magdeburg ) is a German actor .

Life

After attending a children's and youth sports school in his native Magdeburg , where the aim was to make a good boxer out of him, Wolfgang Hosfeld learned the profession of a cook. He also made music in various bands, which he also directed. Since his regional dialect bothered him during these performances , he took speaking lessons from an actor from Magdeburg. He recognized his artistic talent and registered him at the State Drama School in Berlin , which he attended from 1970 to 1973. He then received an engagement at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin , to which he was a member until 2012. Here he played the role of Adam in Rudi Strahl's In Matters Adam and Eve in over 550 performances. On television he was best known for his character the clown Oops , but also for appearances in productions such as Hans Sachs ' gadgets. Fast Nachspiele (1976), Hans-Joachim Preils Tatzeit 7 p.m. (1979) and Rudi Czerwenka's Stolzer Hahn (1979) of the Moritzburg TV Theater . He also worked as a director, acting teacher, dubbing teacher and had many evenings of reading and music of his own.

Wolfgang Hosfeld is married to the singer, dancer and actress Brigitte Hube-Hosfeld. Both live in Zeuthen near Berlin. Their son Paul Hosfeld worked as a child in several roles in the theater and in film, but later studied law and economics at the TH Wildau.
