Karin Gregorek

Karin Gregorek (born September 26, 1941 in Wendorf ) is a German actress . Gregorek is best known for having played numerous supporting roles in feature films and television productions. She also has engagements at various theaters .

Life

Karin Gregorek attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1961 to 1963 , where she trained as an actress. She then performed at the Altenburger and Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau and in Erfurt, among others . This was followed by a longer stay in Berlin , where she played at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater from 1976 to 1993 and also took over the direction of several productions .

Her portrayal of Regina B. in the play of the same name by Siegfried Pfaff and her participation in productions of dramas by the poet Peter Hacks , with whom she was involved for a long time, is particularly famous .

From 1997 to 1999 she played the neighbor Gundula Wawczinek in the series Mama is impossible at the side of Eberhard Esche .

Since the series began in 2001, Karin Gregorek has appeared in the ARD series Um Himmels Willen . There she plays the somewhat hysterical (meanwhile former) head of the monastery “Felicitas Meier” alongside Fritz Wepper , Rosel Zech , Jutta Speidel and Janina Hartwig and Gaby Dohm and Nina Hoger.

Karin Gregorek lives in Berlin .
