Volker Lüdecke
Volker Lüdecke (born March 28, 1961 in Hanover ) is a German playwright and actor.
Life
After first experiences in theater on independent theaters and with a street theater group in France, with participation in the Festival d'Avignon , Lüdecke completed an acting training in Berlin at the Kirchhoff School and the University of the Arts , to which a one-year project study “Scenic Writing ”at the HdK.
He works full-time as a playwright and for television productions, part-time as an actor and director . He has published plays in the publishing houses Drei Masken Verlag, Munich, stueckgut, Munich, razzoPENuto, Berlin and Felix Bloch Erben , Berlin. Also articles in the features section of the FAZ and the daily newspaper Welt . In 1997 his play Darja was awarded the Else Lasker Schüler Dramatist Prize (shared with Werner Fritsch ).
As an author, he was a scholarship holder of the Berlin Literary Colloquium and the Prussian Sea Handling Foundation , Berlin.
Lüdecke has lived in Berlin since 1983.
