Regina Thoss
Regina Thoss (born July 10, 1946 in Zwickau ) is a German pop singer and radio presenter .
Life
Regina Thoss already made musical experiences at the age of eight in the school choir, where she sang as a soloist. She made her first public appearance at the age of 13 with folk music . She completed a vocal and piano training at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Zwickau . In 1964 she was discovered by the talent seeker Heinz Quermann in Zwickau while looking for up-and-coming artists for his TV show Herzklopfen gratis , in which she began her musical career in 1965 with the chanson La Seine . In the same year, the concert and guest performance management of the Karl-Marx-Stadt district organized their first tour. In 1966 Regina Thoss received her professional certificate in the subject Schlagergesang. Her breakthrough came with her participation in the International Schlager Festival of the Baltic States in 1966 in Rostock, where she won with the title The First Night by the Sea . At the 16th International Song Contest in Castlebar , Ireland , she was honored as the best interpreter.
Regina Thoss was present as an entertainer with singing, dancing and moderation in all known television and radio shows of the GDR and made guest appearances with her band Evergreen Juniors in the Soviet Union , Cuba , Iraq , Libya and Poland . In the Middle East she made guest appearances with the Erich Weinert Ensemble . Further tours took her to Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Japan, Austria, Ireland and Yugoslavia. In 1973 she was awarded the GDR Art Prize.
With the turnaround , appearances in the ZDF television garden , in the Sat.1 breakfast television and in the current showroom followed .
In 2006 Regina Thoss worked with the Jay Kay Music label , and the three single CDs Hautnah , At the end of the steppe and A heart full of love were subsequently released. Since then, Thoss has appeared in the television show Die Hits des Jahres with Bernhard Brink . Regina Thoss returned to the Hamburg label Toi Toi Toi Records in 2008. The album Leben mit dir was released in autumn 2010.
Since 2008 she has also performed with the cabaret program Das Zickenkranzchen . Since 2012 she has also been part of the new Regina Thoss program - to be experienced in a completely different way.
Since September 2013 Regina Thoss has been at the side of the actress and cabaret artist Carola Bläss in the musical-satirical program Can blasphemy be a sin ...? traveling across Germany.
In 2016 Thoss celebrated its 50th stage anniversary.
Thoss lives in Berlin-Rahnsdorf .
