history

The so-called Waldvogelhof was a fiefdom of the Prince Monastery of Kempten and was named as early as 1373 in the course of an inheritance matter of those of Rothenstein . In 1414, Corona von Rothenstein received the estate, she was married to Haupt II von Pappenheim . As a result, this property came into Woringer possession and was sold to Rudolf Mettelin, a citizen of Ravensburg, in 1417.
