Unterbinnwang is an Upper Swabian village in the Kronburg municipality in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria .

The village of Unterbinnwang is about 1.5 kilometers south of Kronburg, at an altitude of 635 m above sea level. NN . The Iller runs almost 300 meters west of Unterbinnwang .
history
The so-called Waldvogelhof was a fiefdom of the Prince Monastery of Kempten and was named as early as 1373 in the course of an inheritance matter of those of Rothenstein . In 1414, Corona von Rothenstein received the estate, she was married to Haupt II von Pappenheim . As a result, this property came into Woringer possession and was sold to Rudolf Mettelin, a citizen of Ravensburg, in 1417. Hans von Werdenstein, lord of Kronburg Castle , tried to build a closed property around his rule and in 1466 exchanged some farms with his brother. In 1779 Unterbinnwang was deserted . During this time, several farms were relocated from the center to the east in the direction of the Hohe Rain .
