The Lower Gate is a medieval gate tower in Abenberg , a town in the Central Franconian district of Roth ( Bavaria ).

The protected monument (file no. D-5-76-111-50) is the eastern city ​​gate of the former city ​​fortification of Abenberg , which was built under Bishop Konrad II (1297-1305). The three-storey sandstone block building with an ogival passage has a half-timbered gable . The roof structure with a gable roof was built around 1724.
