The hamlet of Unterlangensee is located about 1.6 kilometers southwest of Neukirch town center at an altitude of 564  m above sea level. NN , between the hamlets of Sackweiher and Wildpoltsweiler , which also belong to Neukirch . In the south, Unterlangensee borders on the Kreuzweiher-Langensee nature reserve .

history

" Hofstelle 7 ", built in 1846 by the mayor of Flunau , Johann Straub, served as a residential building, town hall and cheese dairy for the municipality of Flunau.

Unterlangensee is not part of the public transport network of the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund ( bodo ). The next stops are in Wildpoltweiler and Oberlangensee .

Several hiking trails marked by the community of Neukirch and the first stage of the Jubiläumsweg Bodenseekreis run through Unterlangensee . It leads from the Kressbronn train station to Neukirch town center.
