The Catholic parish church of St. Martin stands on medieval foundations made of coarse Argen pebbles. In 1275 a house of God was mentioned for the first time here. The 21 meter high bell tower with a gable roof is the oldest part of today's church. This is followed by the choir and the roughly 22-meter-long nave . The current ceiling paintings were installed in 1894 by the Überlingen painter and restorer Victor Mezger .

The parish belongs to the pastoral care unit Argental and is connected to the other seven parishes through the approximately 32 kilometer long faith trail.
