Uri Ra'anan
Uri Ra'anan (until 1954 Heinz Felix Frischwasser ) (born June 10, 1926 in Vienna ) is an American political scientist of Austrian origin.
As a child, Frischwasser emigrated from Austria to the USA, where he was naturalized and in 1954 took the Hebrew name Uri Ra'anan.
As a political scientist, he specialized in research on international relations and conflicts as well as the government system of the Soviet Union and Russia . He taught as a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , Columbia University , the City University of New York and finally at the private Boston University .
