Urs Hany (born October 1, 1955 in Zurich ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ) and has been a judge at the Zurich Construction Course Court since 2013.

biography

Hany was President of CVP Niederhasli from 1982 to 1991, then President of CVP District Dielsdorf until 2000 and finally President of CVP Canton Zurich (2000-2004).

From March 1990 to March 2002, Hany was a local councilor in Niederhasli . From March 2002 to August 2006 he was a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council . From December 18, 2006 to 2011, Hany was on the National Council . There he had a seat in the Commission for Transport and Telecommunications (KVF) , the Commission for Public Buildings (KöB) and the Judicial Commission (GK) . In the elections of October 23, 2011 he was not re-elected. In February 2013, Hany was elected as a new member of the Zurich Building Course Court. Hany is also a member of the Watt d'Or jury .

The building contractor is married, has two children and lives in Niederhasli.
