Urs Jenny
Urs Jenny (born April 26, 1938 in Essen ) is a Swiss journalist , critic and dramaturge .
Live and act
Jenny graduated from high school in Solothurn in 1957 . He then studied German , Romance studies and theater history without a degree in Munich, among other places . From 1964 to 1969 he wrote theater , film and literary reviews for the Süddeutsche Zeitung .
From 1970 to 1972 he was chief dramaturge at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel in Munich , from 1972 to 1979 under director Ivan Nagel he was chief dramaturge at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg .
In 1979 he began working as an editor in the culture section of the Hamburg news magazine Der Spiegel .
