Urs P. Gasche
Urs Paul Gasche (born March 1, 1945 in Basel ; legal resident in Bolken and Basel) is a Swiss journalist , publicist and former television presenter .
life and career
After completing his studies at the HEI in Geneva , he worked from 1969 to 1982 as a journalist for various newspapers and for Swiss television . From 1982 to 1985 he was editor-in-chief of the Berner Zeitung .
From 1986 to 1996 he directed and moderated the consumer protection television program Kassensturz . Until 2004 he was co-editor of the magazines K-Tipp , Puls-Tipp , Bon à Savoir and co-owner of the TV production company X-Productions . Since then he has been working as a freelance journalist and in particular works for the Internet newspaper Infosperber . Gasche is President of the Swiss Foundation for the Promotion of Independent Information (SSUI).
Since 1981 he has published books on various topics at irregular intervals.
