Uschkalka ( Ukrainian and Russian Ушкалка ) is a village in the northeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Kherson with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1792, is the administrative center of the 189,470 km² district council in the north of Verkhny Rohachyk Rajon , which includes the villages of Nyschnij Rohachyk ( Нижній Рогачик , ⊙ ) with about 300 inhabitants and Babyne ( Бабине , ⊙ ) with about 240 people belong.
The village is located at an altitude of 56 m on the south bank of the Dnepr , which is dammed up to the Kachowka reservoir , about 30 km northwest of the district center Verkhniy Rohachyk and about 180 km northeast of the oblast center Kherson .
The territorial road T-08-04 runs 12 km southeast of the village.
