Usinitsa is a village ( Estonian küla ) in southeast Estonia . It belongs to the Setomaa rural community in Võru County ( Mikitamäe in Põlva County until 2017 ).

The village has 49 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). The Mädajõgi River flows west of the village center .

The place was first mentioned in 1570.

The orthodox village chapel ( Setukese tsässon ) was built in 1948. The patronage of the Maria-Schutz-Kirche is celebrated annually on October 14th. The chapel was extensively renovated in 1989.
