Rääsolaane is a village ( Estonian küla ) in southeast Estonia . It belongs to the Setomaa rural community in Võru County ( Mikitamäe in Põlva County until 2017 ).

The village has twelve inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). The Mädajõgi River flows west of the village center .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1680. The existence of an Orthodox village chapel ( Setuke tsässon ) has been proven since 1882 . It is dedicated to the prophet Elijah .
