Selise is a village ( Estonian küla ) in southeast Estonia . It belongs to the Setomaa rural community in Võru County ( Mikitamäe in Põlva County until 2017 ).

The village has 57 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). The Mädajõgi River flows west of the village center .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1680 under the name Selištše .
