Uukwiyu , actually Uukwiyuushona , is a constituency in the Oshana region in northern Namibia . The administrative seat is the settlement of the same name Uukwiyu . The district covers an area of ​​299.5 square kilometers and has 12,092 inhabitants (as of 2011). It is located 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Ondangwa .

The largest settlement in Uukwiyu is Okahongo . There are eleven schools in the constituency, four of which are elementary and seven are combined schools. There are two clinics and a police station .
