Uwe Kamann

Uwe Kamann (born August 19, 1958 in Magdeburg ) is a German IT entrepreneur and politician ( non-party , formerly AfD ). He moved into the Bundestag for the AfD in 2017. In December 2018 he left his party and the parliamentary group . He continues to be a non-attached member of the Bundestag .

Life

After completing secondary school , Kamann completed vocational training as a power plant electronics technician at the Federal Railroad .

From 1989 to 2000 Kamann worked for the company debis Systemhaus . Until 2003 Kamann was on the board of the IT company CSC Ploenzke , but his contract was not extended after a strategic realignment. From May 2004 to the end of 2005, Kamann was managing director of the software company DANET in Weiterstadt. In 2006, Kamann founded SEPICON AG .

Kamann is married and has three children.

Bundestag mandate

After the 2017 federal election on September 24, 2017, Kamann moved into the Bundestag via the North Rhine-Westphalian AfD state list number 9.

As a member of the Bundestag , he was chairman and full member of the Enquete Commission on Artificial Intelligence - Social Responsibility and Economic, Social and Ecological Potential and of the Digital Agenda Committee . He was an alternate member of the Transport and Digital Infrastructure Committee .

In the 19th German Bundestag he is an advisory member of the Digital Agenda Committee. [2]

As managing partner of so: cas GmbH in Aachen, he reported monthly ancillary income of level 4 (between 15,001 euros and 30,000 euros) and a profit of level 7 for 2017 (between 75,001 euros and 100,000 euros).

On December 17, 2018, Kamann announced that he would leave the AfD and the AfD parliamentary group. He justified this with "different views on political and specialist political orientations of the party and the parliamentary group".
