Uwe Koch (born June 23, 1961 ) is a former German marathon runner .

In 1986 he became the GDR marathon champion on his debut over the 42.195 km distance as the overall winner of the Leipzig Marathon .

In 1987 he was fourth in the GDR championship held as part of the Leipzig Marathon, ran the third fastest time of the year in the GDR in the Berlin-Grünau marathon and came 29th in the Fukuoka marathon .

At the European Cup marathon in 1988 he came in 21st place, and in 1989 he finished 18th at the IAAF World Cup marathon . In 1990 and 1992 he was fourth in the Munich Marathon .

Uwe Koch started for the ASK Vorwärts Potsdam and the Racing Club Berlin.
