Uwe Müller (born June 21, 1968 ) is a former Austrian skeleton athlete .

Uwe Müller lives in Innsbruck . At the turn of the millennium he was a member of the Austrian national team. In Calgary he started in the 1999/2000 season for the first time in the Skeleton World Cup and was 25th there. Until 2003 , further appearances in the World Cup followed sporadically, his best result was achieved by Müller in 2003 in Igls with 16th place . Since the 2000/01 season , Müller started increasingly in the newly created European Skeleton Cup . In the very first race in Igls, Müller finished third behind Roland Hochfilzer and Markus Penz . In the overall standings he came in sixth place together with Renato Bussola . at the Austrian championships in 2003, Müller won the silver medal behind Martin Rettl . He also took part in the 2003 European Skeleton Championship in St. Moritz and finished in 16th place. Müller contested his last races in 2004.
