Uzi is located in the south of Zanzibar , Tanzania , and is connected to the main island of Unguja by a narrow causeway . The approximately six kilometer long island is the sixth largest island after Tumbatu , which surrounds the main island of the Zanzibar archipelago , Unguja.
The Uzi district had 2030 inhabitants at the August 1, 2002 census.
