Víctor Fernando Cabrera (born February 7, 1993 in Lules ) is an Argentine football player who is used as a defender.

Career

Cabrera began his career with youth teams at Club Almirante Brown , where he played between the ages of 12 and 13, and Club Renato Cesarini , where he played until the age of 17. Then Cabrera moved to River Plate , where he was trained in the youth academy.

In the 2013/14 season, Cabrera was finally appointed to the first team of River Plate. His first and so far only game for the club's first team, he completed on February 23, 2014 in the game against Atlético Colón . Cabrera was mainly used at River Plate for games of the second team, where he was also active in the first half of the 2014/15 season.

On January 8, 2015, the Canadian franchise signed Montreal Impact Cabrera on loan. Cabrera played the first league game for Impact on March 21, 2015 in a 0-0 draw against New England Revolution .

For a foul by a tackle against Jozy Altidore in the derby against Toronto FC on September 29, 2015, Cabrera, although he had only seen the yellow card , was subsequently suspended for a game.
