Büdenhof is a wasteland in the Upper Franconian municipality of Itzgrund in the Coburg district .
geography
Büdenhof is about fourteen kilometers southwest of Coburg on a western slope in the Rodachtal . State road 2204 from Kaltenbrunn to Seßlach passes the settlement, which consists of two agricultural goods .
history
The Büdenhof is documented as a property complex belonging to Bennendorf for the 12th century . A first documentary mention was probably 1149, certainly 1154. In the 17th century the cattle yard was the seat of the Ostheim von Friesenhausen and until 1711 the Wolfsthal.
1848 Büdenhof was to Welsberg incorporated. From 1862 the place belonged to the newly created Bavarian District Office Staffelstein . In 1875 the wasteland had thirteen residents and five buildings. The Protestant school and church were in Schottenstein, three kilometers away .
In 1925, fifteen people lived in Büdenhof in two houses. In 1987 the wasteland comprised seven residents and two houses with two apartments.
On July 1, 1972, the Staffelstein district was dissolved. Since then, Büdenhof has been part of the Coburg district . In the course of the Bavarian territorial reform , Welsberg lost its independence as a municipality on May 1, 1978 and, like its district Büdenhof, became part of the municipality of Itzgrund.
