Víctor Duque (born February 19, 1958 ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

Duque was in the ranks of Danubio FC at least in 1975 and from 1977 to 1978 . For this he was used twice in the Copa Libertadores in 1978 , when his club had qualified for this tournament for the first time in club history. He was substituted on in the games against Atlético Junior and Deportivo Cali .

National team

Duque was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team , which took part in the Junior South American Championship in Peru in 1975 and the U-20 South American Championship in Venezuela in 1977 and won the title. During the tournament in 1975 Walter Brienza was used three times (no goal) and in 1977 by Raúl Bentancor four times (no goal). He was also part of the squad at the 1977 Junior World Cup , in which Uruguay finished fourth. During the World Cup he was used four times (no goal). He was also a member of the Uruguayan squad at the 1975 Pan American Games . Uruguay was eliminated there in the preliminary round .
