The VTB United League season 2009/10 was the first regular season of the new basketball league. Eight teams took part in the 2009/10 VTB United League season. The season began on October 14, 2009 and ended with the final on January 22, 2010 in Kaunas in the home arena of the traditional Lithuanian club Žalgiris .

Group Stage - Regular Season

In this first phase, the eight teams divided into two groups competed against each other in home and away games. Each team played six games. The two best from each group qualified for the final four.
