Valentin Merry

Valentin Fröhlich (born March 20, 1888 in Herzogenaurach ; † May 3, 1964 there ) was a German politician.

Life

Fröhlich attended grammar school in Darmstadt and studied law and economics in Munich . He then did his doctorate as Dr. oec. publ. on the subject of the movement in agricultural land prices in the rent office districts of Forchheim, Höchstadt ad Aisch, Herzogenaurach, Ebermannstadt and Burgwindheim . From 1914 to 1918 he served as a soldier in the First World War . Then he was a civil servant at the Upper Bavarian Christian Farmers 'Association and in the Regensburg Central Cooperative and became Vice President of the Upper Franconian Christian Farmers' Association. In 1931 he became secretary and board member of the Bavarian Christian Farmers' Association, Vice President of the District Chamber of Farmers of Upper Franconia and a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Farmers. He was also the editor of the Franconian farmers' paper. The nephew of the Capuchin Father Cyprian Fröhlich , who is considered the founder of the Seraphic Love Work , was happy .

Political career

From 1928 to 1933 Fröhlich was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the Bavarian People's Party in the constituency of Forchheim-Ebermannstadt. In 1931 he became mayor of Herzogenaurach and was also mayor of the city in 1945. In the same year he became a member of the CSU and district administrator of the former district of Höchstadt an der Aisch . From December 4, 1947 to December 31, 1949 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
