Valentino Di Cerbo (born September 16, 1943 in Frasso Telesino , Benevento Province , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus Bishop of Alife-Caiazzo .

Life

Valentino Di Cerbo received on 30 March 1968 by the Bishop of Sant'Agata de 'Goti, Ilario Roatta , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 6, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Alife-Caiazzo. Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Cardinal Bertone SDB donated him episcopal ordination on May 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Rome , Luigi Moretti , and the bishop of Cerreto Sannita-Telese-Sant'Agata de 'Goti , Michele De Rosa . The inauguration took place on May 8, 2010.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 30, 2019.
